Lane brings to the position 20 years of management experience, progressing through various leadership roles. He holds both Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts (Economics) degrees. Prior to this appointment, he served as Vice-President and General Manager for Honeywell Building Solutions, Canada. There, he was responsible for a multi-million dollar business and 700+ employees. Lane is an accomplished and respected leader. He believes in delivering on customer commitments, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and recognizing employees for their contributions.
Lane plays an active part in realizing ENGIE Services’ ambitious plans to expand the company’s reach in the Canadian and U.S. markets, and he will lead the ongoing development and execution of strategies and programs to drive sales, to grow the business and deliver on our promises to our customers.
Pierre Lapointe is a graduate in building mechanics with more than 30 years of experience in building technical management and energy efficiency. In 1991, he joined the ENGIE Services team where is held the positions of Technical Services Team Leader and Director, Operations. In this capacity, he was responsible for supervising many operating contracts of a building stock of more than 20 million square feet. In 2007, also with ENGIE, he was appointed Vice-President, Business Development, where he signed several operating agreements for technical and property infrastructure that generated income of almost $100 million. Pierre Lapointe is currently Senior Vice-President, Operations and now heads up ENGIE’s North American activities, where he is responsible of all service managers across the continent. He supervises execution of assignments and client satisfaction, negotiation of contracts and riders, process improvement, budgets, and provides strategic planning and operational data for operations under his direction. He reports directly to the President of ENGIE North America.
Jean-Marc joined the company in 2008 to be legal advisor for ENGIE Services’ technical services and energy managementbusiness in theUS and Canada. He holds a law degree (1983) from the Université de Montréal and an MBA from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales de Montréal. Jean-Marc began his career in Montreal in private practice representing businesses and individuals in commercial and civil litigation cases as well as administrative law matters. After completing his MBA in 1990, Jean-Marc moved to an in-house role in the manufacturing sector. He actively participated in mergers and acquisition projects as well as negotiations with major strategic partners in the office products industry. He was also involved in representations before regulatory authorities such as the Canadian International Trade Tribunal. In 2004, he transitioned to services as in-house counsel for a Montreal based transportation company.
His role at ENGIE Services involves the day-today management of legal and regulatory issues as well as support for the business development and procurement teams of ENGIE Services as its grows its business in innovative technical services, long-term energy and technical management as well as facility management. His work includes active participation in the internal approval process as well as the negotiation and closing of Public-Private Partnership (P3) projects in the US and Canada.
Appointed Vice-President Human Resources in January 2018, Marie Sampaio has extensive experience in Human Resources Management and more specifically in Labour Relations. She has been Lead Negotiator in collective bargaining agreements.
She began her career in the mining industry in South America and thereafter in Northern Quebec for the mining giant, Falconbridge Limited. She progressed in HR positions and has held upper management positions in Human Resources in the aerospace and construction industries for the past ten years.
Marie has a University degree in Human Resources and Labour Relations from the University of Québec in Montréal and completed an intensive program in Organizational Development from the University of Montréal (HEC). She is currently completing a postgraduate diploma in Business Administration at Laval University.
She is a certified member of the Canadian Council of Human Resources (Québec).
With nearly 25 years’ experience in the Facility Management Services industry, Nicolas is currently working as Vice-President Facility Management & PPP. In this role, he supervises the delivery of service contracts and client satisfaction, negotiation of contracts and riders, process improvement, budgets, and provides strategic planning and operational data for operations. He is also in charge of ensuring efficient transition and start-up processes in the PPP projects.
Avec près de 20 années d’expérience en gestion immobilière et technique et 15 années dans le domaine de la construction industrielle, Rémi Blackburn a joint les rangs d’ENGIE Services en 2016 à titre de Directeur régional, Gestion des installations. Dans le cadre de ses fonctions, Rémi a géré une équipe de ressources opérationnelles et a assuré la prestation des services. Son expérience dans la gestion de projets opérationnels et la gestion d’équipes lui ont permis de mener des projets importants et de veiller à ce que les attentes des clients soient satisfaites. Depuis 2019, il occupe le poste de Vice-président, Services techniques et numériques et a sous sa gestion plusieurs équipes.
