Montreal, August 27, 2018 — ENGIE Services is pleased to announce that it has been mandated to perform the technical management of the head office of the Société de l ’assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ), located in Quebec City.
This complex mandate includes the management of critical SAAQ systems such as the call centre and the fire alarm system, as well as the operation, maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical and control equipment. The contract, whose initial term is three years, includes an addition two-year renewal option, for a total duration of 5 years. The goal is to optimize the performance of electromechanical equipment as well as their efficiency and lifetime, while ensuring the comfort of the more than 2500 occupants of this 559,723-square-foot building, spread over four towers. Our teams will also carry out some additional technical work according to the client’s needs.
To fulfill this mandate and provide 24/7 service, ENGIE Services has integrated the majority of existing employees. Call centre employees, in particular, receive and distribute calls related to the SAAQ’s facilities throughout Quebec. In addition, the members of our teams take charge of all activities related to the operation of the fire alarm system.
"We are delighted to have the opportunity of serving one of the Government of Quebec’s many corporations in the nation’s capital," said Jean-Luc Billiani, President and CEO of ENGIE Services. This will be a unique opportunity for us to demonstrate our know-how at the institutional level."
