ENGIE MultiTech appoints three seasoned professionals to its leadership team

Luc Duguay, CEO of ENGIE MultiTech, is pleased to announce three key appointments in its Mississauga office. ENGIE MultiTech welcomes Michael De Cesare as Vice-President of Electrical Business, Andre Dagenais as Director of Special Projects and Integration and Daniel M. Stephen as Director of Finance.

ENGIE MultiTech is a full-service mechanical and electrical contractor offering new construction, retrofit, high and low voltage electrical and maintenance services consisting of unionized sheet metal workers, plumbers, steamfitters, welders and HVAC/refrigeration mechanics. MultiTech is a subsidiary of ENGIE Services, Canada, a provider of energy efficiency, facility management services, and P3 projects and is part of ENGIE in North America, which manages a range of energy businesses in the U.S. and Canada, including clean power generation, cogeneration, and energy storage; retail energy sales; and energy optimization services, facility management, and mechanical and electrical construction. ENGIE (formerly GDF SUEZ) employs more than 150K people worldwide and achieved revenues of CAD 98.1 billion in 2017.


Michael De Cesare
Vice-president, Electrical Business

Drawing on his background in the electrical industry of large commercial and industrial projects, Michael will lead the electrical division. With more than 22 years of experience in the construction industry, Michael has extensive experience and a solid reputation in the industry. In addition to developing the electrical business and overseeing all operations for ENGIE MultiTech, he will spearhead efforts to position the company as a major M&E contractor in the marketplace. Before taking on this new position, Michael was Director, Large Construction with Plan Group Inc.



Andre Dagenais
Director, Special Projects and Integration

Andre’s collaborative approach and people skills make him a passionate leader. His solid background in general management, sales, marketing, strategic planning, organizational development and technology will serve him well as he will primarily lead and supervise a variety of special projects, the integration of new technologies and will encourage the efficient use of processes. Prior to this appointment, Andre was Executive Vice-President with Plan Group Inc.



Daniel M. Stephen, CPA, CA, CIA
Director, Finance

Daniel is the newest member of ENGIE MultiTech’s team. As Director of Finance, he will actively contribute to ENGIE MultiTech’s financial performance as a key player in the planning and analysis of financial growth. With more than 20 years of experience in finance and operations management, he is an accomplished executive. He will play an instrumental role in establishing and streamlining business operations to drive strategic growth and create efficiency and bottom-line profit. Before joining ENGIE MultiTech, Daniel was Director, Financial Projects & Internal Controls for Black & McDonald Limited in Toronto.
